Hi! I wanted to showcase some of my favourite items available from the past month, particularly from two brand new events on the grid; The Crossroads and The Forest and also talk about Pink Fuel‘s Doll V2 update!
Firstly, I apologise for how late this post is! My work schedule kicked my ass and the weather in the UK has been insanely hot which meant avoiding my laptop at all costs! All of that coupled with Pokémon GO’s release and you know…
I know the first event is almost over and the second finishes today but I’ll hopefully give you a good teaser and all the info you need for the next rounds!
The Crossroads
- This is a monthly shopping event.
- The event features six sections called “Worlds”.
- Each world has its own theme.
- The themes are currently Roleplay, Vintage, Cute, Contemporary, Apocalypse and Lust.
- The event ends on the 28th of the month.
It’s a gorgeous build and has a huge variety of items including gacha, definitely one to check out. Like the Facebook page for more details and competitions.
The Forest
- This is a monthly shopping event.
- A unique experience where you are required to buy a “ticket”.
- Join the main group for information and access to the group key for each round.
- A ticket costs $1000L and gives you access to around 20 items.
- The event runs from the 11th to the 25th of each month.
I think this is an awesome idea and is quite the bargain when you see the amazing offerings from high-quality designers. Visit the website for more details.
So I also wanted to talk about one of Pink Fuel‘s latest updates, the Doll V2 skin was one of my favourite classic skins when I fancied a change from my beloved Glam Affair. I was ecstatic to see Mochi had updated the skin to feature mesh head appliers and couldn’t wait to try it on!
The crystal tone is lush and unique with the cutest flushed cheeks and gives all three of these heads an adorable look. I have only been able to test this on the Catwa Alice head but the lips don’t seem to line up perfectly, it’s not too noticeable unless you’re looking, though.
Below I’ve grabbed a selection of HUDs just so you can see the amazing amount of options you always get when purchasing from Pink Fuel. From make-up to freckles there’s so much to play with including tintable eyebrows which I am showing on the Catwa image above.
The biggest problem I’m having is with lipsticks, they don’t seem to line up very well at all on all three of these heads which is a real shame! Seeing as it’s an issue I’m having with all three, I wonder if I’m doing something wrong so if anyone has any insight please let me know!
